This is a matter of "questionable trading".
9/1 email recd with quote for phone valid for 14 DAYS - will send off package to me
16/1 package received ( now at 7 DAYS)
17/1 posted package back
24/1 chased o2 recycle - they say, not yet recd
30/1 surprise surprise 13 DAYS now recd and price for phone gone from £43.75 to £26.19
as time expired on quote
E-Mailed back telling them what I thought and to send back
1/2 NO RESPONSE
Next week if if I have had no reply then I will serve notice on o2 for the landline, broadband and one of the mobiles. Had I not just done a new 24 mth contract on another mobile that would be going also as I think it is downright rude not to respond to emails

You are aware that emails can take upto 7 days for a response

The company I used to work for demanded a response even if it was we will look into it on the same day and it could be automated
I think o2 recylcle cause the delay - their loss not mine
Probably get a response from Trading Standards before I get the o2 reply

How can that be wrong, ok they have been a bit slow but you can't complain unless you don't get the phone back, which you can sell elsewhere.
You can't complain about a loss you haven't had yet.

Yes I agree but whilst they have been messing around the value has gone down with others

Really, you think trading standards will respond with a action plan before O2?
You do not work for O2 so your previous company means nothing.
Sorry but I am really struggling with the stupidity of that comment.
Ok, so do you have written evidence of the price O2 offered you? Was your phone as you said when they recieved it?
I sent a phone recently to o2 recycle and it was done, dusted in 10 days.

You think so, well I dont and there are other issues over o2s operating system which have not been resolved in the last 12 months.
Unlike some on here I am not prepared to go along with these.

Hi reader.
Sorry to hear about your problem with O2 Recycle.
As mentioned previously; was there a specific reason for the reduction or simply the phone is no longer worth what it was?
I would imagine a possible reason for the delay could have been the poor weather, of course not your problem, but it is something, along with necessary reductions in the value, which are covered in the terms and conditions available here.
