O2 Can't find my address when trying to finalise a purchase

Basically the title.

When it comes to the delivery address part of the purchase it just flat out refuses to find the address even though it is registered with Royal Mail. What's up with that?

Also... Called CS and was told that if they could manually register the address it would have to be the same addy as the billing one. Is that correct? I can't have a separate billing and delivery address?

I work Monday through Friday 06:00 - 18:00 so would need my delivery address to be my work as I'm never at home during normal delivery hours. O2's solution over the phone was to order the phone, wait for a delivery attempt to be made and sent back to the depot and THEN changing the address to the one I need. What's up that?! Why no separate addresses from the start?

Thanks guys but the weekend thing is a no-go due to me covering holidays for the next two weeks weekends included. I've had the idea of just getting a friend and colleague buy it and bring it in to me when he starts his shift.

I suggest you go in store on a Saturday to make your purchase.
Much safer that way.

Hello @Anonymous,

It could be great to report the address so they can fix the system wink

The delivery address searches usually match up with Royal Mail but if it can't be found on the online system,  you should be able to enter an alternative delivery address or you can click and collect to a local O2 store.

Please let me know if that’s what you needed and if there's something else we can do to help you out. Wave

and welcome to the O2 community! Mexican Wave
