Hi everyone. My wife has had a new contract and brought her old number over to the new one. Now, I can’t call her as I get the message number not recognised. I have deleted the number and reentered it, tried typing it in manually but still the same. Even turned dialling assistance on and of, but nothing. Strangely though, a text will go through but not a call. Any ideas.

You need to reach out to o2, so they can put a call into your wifes old network, as it sounds like call forwarding on the donor network has failed.
You will have to be patient some networks are quicker than others at coming back to o2.. (other networks are the same).
You can either call 202 from your o2 phone or 0344 809 0202
Or If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Get her to check the settings in the phone app to see if she has accidently blocked your number
