I switched from Virgin Mobile to O2 receiving my new Sim on Tuesday 25 October 2022. I submitted the online application to transfer my number on Wednesday 26 October. Nothing having happened by Saturday 29 October I phoned O2 and was told the number transfer would go through on Monday 31 October. My old Virgin Media Sim “died” around noon on Monday 31 October but as at 1715 on Wednesday 2 November my number has not been transferred to my O2 Sim. A phone call to O2 on the evening of Tuesday 1 November was unproductive. Any hints on where I go from here.

My wife has now joined O2 and we have tried to port her existing number across to her new O2 sim but as initially happen with my number number (kindly resolved via this thread) it does not seem to have worked. This time though my wife's existing mobile supplier sim is still working. Does this mean there's possible been a problem with PAC code and should I request a new one?
I've made several requests to move the old number but no communications have been received from O2 to inform when the switch would take place, which I had received when switching my number.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I would ask for another PAC if the existing one isn't working.
