Noisy O2telephone lines

I've called numerous times today in the hopes of speaking to someone in the sales team as I'm looking to add a new device to my plan. All four telephone calls have been answered and the background noise is so extreme, that each time I've had to end the call. It's obvious that staff are working from home as I'm having to talk over children, dogs, televisions etc. Such poor service.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you

Depending on your location and why you want to speak to someone, a visit to an O2 retail store might be an option.
