Common issue unfortunately.
Phone is most likely out of stock but O2 seem incapable of handling the simplest of orders these days.
We always recommend buying in store so you can walk out with your phone in your hand.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It is sad that this is a common occurrence. You need to chase it up by ringing customer services

It's a sad fact but the first people know about the awful practice of taking money when phones are out of stock is when they come to the community. Spread the news people. ...upgrade or buy instore!
