The ability to unlock handsets varies with difficulty between manufacturers. If you can buy sim free the phone will work on any network in the world. If carrier locked to voda you should enquire as to their unlocking rules as different networks vary their requirements. Samsung phones are the easiest to unlock without network assistance.
