NHS discounts

I have an o2 account and a colleague of mine has told me that she has 30% off  her bills for been an NHS employee. I would like to find out if this is correct as I work for the NHS and have done for the lifetime of my O2 contract and have never been offered any privileges.

Taken from the FAQ's

Do I need to go to the store or can I access the scheme online?
You generate your O2 Open code online, but you must take your O2 Open code to an O2 store to redeem your offer and they'll do the rest.

Exactly why I answered the way I did - the new T&C's say one thing but someone said last week that the text in method still worked. Although I suspect it may not forever.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Yes....on your help link  it still states to text (which is where I took my answer from) but the new FAQ's have changed as you point out @MI5

We should go off the FAQs but it's still an option to try the text method first.

I would be cautious of this, as if someone texts and gets the standard we are working on your request, or worse nothing, they might assume its done and miss the timescale to register in store.

The help link doesn't have the new T&C's yet either.

I'll have to get @Toby to let me edit it.

Hi

I work for the NHS. My partner and parents have all got o2 NHS discount on their accounts. I have been given a better offer on a new contract that o2 cant match. If I leave will my partner and parents loose their o2 NHS discount as they still have a year or so left on their contracts?

TT
