Hello my mobile number does not shown on my actual phone settings..If I go to settings-about phone-my number..it just says UNKNOWN.. I cannot physically input and save the number as it doesn`t give the option.. It`s a Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 phone.. I have had my same phone number for 20 years and tranferred a few years ago from EE to O2.. I was sent a new O2 SIM card when I was transferring my number from EE but since transferring my number just won`t show up on my device.. Is it to do with the SIM card sent by O2 at time of transfer? Not sure how to get this to work.. Thank you all for any possible help...

O2 don't push numbers to sim cards and it's not required for the phone to work.
If you want the number on the sim, you need to put your sim in an iPhone and use Settings >Phone >My Number to write to sim and save it.
