Morning.

I've had to request the call to be listened back on as last month I've received a sales call and was convinced to join O2 on a sim only contract as they could provide a better deal then gifdgaff who I was with.

I was told because I've struggled getting a contract due to negative credit file after 3 months I am able to upgrade so long as the bills are paid on time.

It wasn't until I went to an O2 shop to remove the age restrictions that I was told it's actually 6 months to wait. I've made a complaint and asked for the call to be listened back on as I know the time and date I was called.

If they prove I was missing led what is likely to be the outcome? Is it worth me contacting an ombudsman too?

@Stefan83I presume you entered this contract as a result of a cold call from LBM purporting to be O2?

They are a direct marketing company who have a very bad reputation and will say anything to clients in order to get commission for a sale !

Some info here http://www.dynamoo.com/diary/lbm-direct-marketing.htm

And another thread from the community. https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Lbm-marketing-group/td-p/243363

Yes they claimed to be from 02 and it was the O2 shop who informed me the sake was a LBM one. I have been informed this am I will have to wait 5 days for the call to be listened too. If no satisfactory resolution after that I will take to the ombudsman.

Thanks for advice
