Low res images

Apologies if this has been discussed before. Just got o2 BB for the Mac, and in all web pages images and graphics appear low res. Have read something about needing a particular driver. Any ideas?

I think this is to save you bandwidth.

I read somewhere else in the forum that if you refresh the page, pictures should display fine.

If only it were that simple! No that doesn't work.

There's some javascript inserted in the html you should be able to hover over it and press CTRL-R (or whatever, there's supposed to be a tooltip).

However it doesn't always work, especially if the JS image already has handlers on it or if you have JS disabled.

I'm guessing no-one else has this problem?

Another user on this forum says, if you are on monthly contract you can change the user name to - bypass - , if Pay as You Go there seems to be no fix.

Nope, reloading the software and changing the account password to 'bypass' makes no difference at all. Is anyone else using a Mac having this problem?

Yes, same problem here. On my Windows laptop I can at least press ctrl-R to reload with full res images, but in Safari there doesn't seem to be a way to achieve this. This really makes the PAYG service very poor on a mac.
