Lost of phone signal

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm an o2 customer, and have been on and off for many years.  I am pay for a 24 month contract, and O2 do nothing but cut my signal.

Aim getting feed up with this, I need my phone to make calls and send texts and I cant do this if O2 keep cutting me off.

My contract runs out next may and I will be terminating it in the April.

If there was a way I could get out of my contract then I would.  As this ending up now no signal happens all the time.  But when every I speck to someone online they say there is nothing wrong in my area.  Well all I can say is, there clearly is a problem in my area.

Since O2 had that problem last summer, where the whole 02 network shut down, that's how long I have been getting this problem.

When I go to make a phone call my phone comes up with - Not registered on network.  I true the phone off for a couple of mins, and then turn it back on, the signal comes back, but then about half hour to an hour later I end up with no signal again.

Why should I pay for a contract that I am not getting the service for.

Hi,

Check here for the current status http://status.o2.co.uk/

Remove your sim and clean it so see if that has an effect.

Do other people around you on 02 have the same issue where you live ?

Try your sim in another phone to cut out the possibility that your phone is at fault.

You could ask for a blank sim and perform a sim swap  http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

This takes from a couple of hours to 24 hours to fully activate. Turning the phone off and on helps to reset it.
