My son's iphone was lost and reported to o2. The phone was then found pay as go sim inserted and works. Now tried to use it with o2 monthly sim and it says no service and phone not allowed. Many calls and live chats with o2 who say they will unlock it but still not working. Please can anyone offer any help

It could also be that the SIM is blocked as well, especially if a PAYG sim card works..

When you reported the phone lost what sim did it have in the device, PAYG or contract
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Both usually get blocked when reporting a loss.

The only time this has happened to me, I got both blocked. Seems to be standard procedure.
