I have recently upgraded to a Pixel 4 XL and am now unable to use the Virgin London Underground Tube Wifi. Everytime I log on I get the landing page, I select O2, enter my mobile number and hit submit. It then tells me I need to register the device on O2 wifi and that I will get a text message. I never get any text message!!
Ive logged onto a O2 wifi hotspot and then gone back to the station and it still does the same thing. So to be clear I can log onto O2 wifi hotspot with no issue and the internet works fine, but when i log onto the underground wifi it doesnt work.
The thing is im sure this happened a couple of years back when I got my Pixel 2 but when i logged onto a O2 hotspot, after that it worked. I cant believe this is so dificult to resolve. Ive tried talking to O2 CS and im getting nowhere.
Does anyone out there know how to resolve this issue and get my device registered properly so I can use the underground Wifi. It comes in very handy using the wifi so this is really annoying right now!
