Finally, o2 3g & 4g has arrived in Aviemore in the Scottish highlands. Great speeds too. However, here's my daft question. Before I had a full 5 bars on 2g with calls rarely dropping.. now I have 2 bars of 4g and although data is great, calls seem to drop out more! So could it just be teething problems or is 5 bars of 2g better than 2 bars of 4g?

Hi @Rabster It all depends what you are doing at the time. I would also suppose your location (Aviemore) has a lot to do with strength of signal

2G is good for calls and texts

3G gives you calls texts and data

4G Is fast data

So if only using phone for calls and texts and occasional internet use then 3G is probably the best. You can find that in your phone settings...

2g will always be better for call stability.
You can still manually lock your phone to 2g for times when calls are a Prority for you.
