Inability to connect to O2 UK WiFI

Recently bought an O2 PAYG dongle MF100 but unable to connect to O2 UK WiFi(BTOpenzone) when prompted by CM to do so - a 'Connection error' page would appear and reason was another device had been registered already. Very strange as I'm still using the same netbook but different dongle. Even my MAC address was reset manually by 3 advisers from the Mobile broadband Team yet no joy. Been through 5 different advisers at Mobile Broadband Team and only the last one pointed this out (not totally convinced but will give it a try as a friend's E160 manages to do so) but why? A dongle is a dongle, isn't it?

Thanks! Have done all that still nothing - still blocked. Is there any evidence in the dongle (MF100/E160) being inappropriate? It's so annoying O2 never has one advisor dealing with an issue till resolved and apart from one this has never been suggested as a possible fault but not convinced.

Try a pm to one of the O2 staff who are helping out in the Home Broadband section, they seem very knowledgeable on MBB.
