Get your PAC off your giffgaff dashboard https://www.giffgaff.com/dashboard

Apply for your O2 SIM card, then give O2 your PAC https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number

Was it an O2 phone?

If so, how to report it here Guide: Lost or Stolen O2 Device? - How to Report it

Hi

You’d still need to a PAC code in order to transfer over to O2, as the phone is lost then you’d need to ask for it over the phone or to be sent out.
O2 will give you a temporary number when you start off with.
Hope that helps
