My number is with giffgaff, however I registered on O2 hotspot and have been enjoying the wifi coverage in underground stations in London for 5 years. Yet since I changed my iphone 6 with an iphone xs, no coverage have been received. I chatted with an O2 customer support agent and he told me I must go to myb account with O2, then to manage my devices, then delete my old mobile. This makes sense but the problem is that I could not access my account with O2 since I am a giffgaff user.
