How to talk to a real person?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I need to talk to customer services. I call 202 and get a load of menus. I just want to talk to a real person. I would rather not go through the leaving option but it seems like the only options to use that is kind of relevant? O2 were supposed to call me back today at 5pm...but it's 6.23pm

Customer service is going to be busy because of all the iPhone enquiries. I'd say the best time to get through would be early morning from 8 am.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Yeah, rather than listening to advice on here everyone will be ringing up to find out when their phone will be delivered.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

a)  It doesn't work.

b) O2 deliberatly avoid actually talking to their customers in every way possible.

c) Does anyone know of a real way to speak to a responsible human being in this dreadful organisation?

@Davalew

To try to contact O2.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
