How to ask for Live Chat transcripts

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi there,

I am wondering how to ask for Live Chat transcripts please? I had an interraction with one of their CS online agents who was very helpful regarding the refund of a deposit, however I do not see the conversation recorded anywhere on my O2 nor did I receive an e-mail or notification regarding the refund request.

Did anyone use Live Chat to claim a deposit back or how can I get a trsncript of the conversation please? The Agent I had emntioned that he has raised a refund request and that it will take 5 to 10 working days. However, never received a written confirmation and balance is still in credit.

Many thanks,

Myriam

You have to request it from the chat window whilst it is still open.
The only way I can think of now would be to ask if one can be emailed to you http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

I would also add that they may charge you for getting the transcript as this could form part of a DPA / FOI  / Subject Matter request, in the same way that asking for a copy of a call with CS may cost.

The current cost is £10.00 and is payable up front.

Last chat I had there was no option to save or be emailed a copy, no link or box. I didn't request one via the chat itself as it wasn't necessary for me. I'm just wondering if things have changed?

Anything is possible but surely they can't deny customers a copy for reference?
