Hi,
When I try to use O2's Online Chat facility, it's asking to input an O2 mobile number, which I haven't got as I'm not an O2 customer at present.
How to get around this please?
I'd rather just use the Chat option (so everything's in writing & quick) than call or email (delayed response).

You should be able to type any number into the chat facility, whether it be an o2 number or not.
There is now a small number of chat advisors now in the UK, one of which being myself.
We are trying hard to make the chat a much better experience

Sadly, the only time I can chat with a UK adviser is by going through the link on the complaints page.
ps, hope you don't mind me mentioning it @Chattymuch but as you work for O2 you need to let people know by way of your signature. @Toby can advise you.

its going to be hard undoing all the years of terrible service from chat, Ive spoke to other networks live chats too from being their customers, and its like talking to brick walls. Must be a live chat thing!

Of course with this being a forum people generally complain about poor service....but we have a had a few good reports as well
