How do I delete my O2 account

Anonymous

I have a new phone number and can't register online with it as I already have an account with my email address. How do I delete the defunct one?

I had to create a new email address, then register and then link the two accounts.

Sorted now. Thanks

Hi,

Speak to Cs on 202 contract or 4445 Payg.

You can link numbers to your myo2 if you wish.

Edit to add link : https://accounts.o2.co.uk/

You can't delete old accounts (they are required to be retained for audit purposes), but as above you can link your new number to the old log in.
You should have been given a new log in which you use to register the new number then go back to the old account and link it.
If you can't see how to do this on line give CS a call to help you.

I had tried to register with the new number but seems to be an issue with my email address, I'm assuming because I have an account with it already. You can only link other products if you have another account, which I can't do.

I'll just need to call them I guess
