Did you tell o2 you where refusing delivery? or cancelling the upgrade before doing so?
You don't get any of the money back that you paid off the previous contract, your previous tariff if still available will be what you go back to, if not it will be the nearest to it.
It may take upto 21 days before you can try and upgrade again, and you will be credit checked and affordability checked again.
The best thing to do is to speak to Customer Service either on 202 or via social media Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

The balance that you paid off remains paid, so you go back to just having a sim only deal (you are only paying for minutes, texts and data) @Logan.
You will need to keep chasing the phone being received back at o2 so that it is not on your account anymore.
