Have I been accepted?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I recently applied for a phone contract and paid £9.99 upfront I then received a few emails, including a credit agreement as well as legal documents and an order confirmation email, but o2 have emailed me back this morning saying unfortunately they can't progress until I go in store and show proof of identification and address. Does this mean I haven't been accepted yet? Or will I get the contract after going in store and showing address/identification? Any help would be much appreciated 😊

Yes it does look as if O2 are, in this instance, double checking for security purposes @Anonymous

Make sure you also take the email with you as well as proof of ID they requested. Best of luck slight_smile

You'll need your bank card to confirm your identity too.

Hello @Anonymous, welcome to the community!

The O2 community is a group of customers who like to help each other out, answer questions and discuss O2 or chat about any related topic.

But I guess you need to follow @adamtemp64@Cleoriff and @MI5 suggestion and go to the store.

It could be great if after you come back to let us know so we learn from next time! Good Idea
