Future 5G Coverage plans

Hi,

I am aware of how to check for existing 5G coverage, (or lack of in my case!) but is there anyway of finding out future development on the network? (dates, locations etc.) I would guess it must be fairly soon here in Edinburgh as I literally live half a mile away from coverage in ALL directions! 🙄

It is just that I am looking to get a new gadget 😏 and with the talk of all the new 5G phones coming out early next year, it would be nice be able to plan it in advance.

Thanks

Robin

Unfortunately that's not something that O2 announce in advance.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

How can my post be labled an "ACCEPTED SOLUTION" when it is not?

I still ask the forum crew the same question. When is my area likely to have 5G.

No one in Customer Services, the Forum team, or us as other customers will know..  And o2 don't announce areas in advance.

Because the question you asked has been answered, even if the answer is not what you (or anyone else) would want to hear...

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
