I have just claimed mine, the website stated that the proof needed to claim must contain the logo of the company you pre ordered from, must show the date and the item ordered. I saved a copy of the order, from the my orders page of my account and submitted that as no email I had from o2 clearly showed the date or preorder. So hopefully that will suffice.

@Matt91 I did similar, I went onto the order page and took a screenshot as it showed all the criteria needed (logo, date of pre order and item) so fingers crossed it's all good.

I have had my claim accepted now with the order page  although it says it could be 45 days in the post 

To anyone else wondering what to use as proof, Samsung will accept the order details page from the "my orders" section of your account, just press on the order number to open the order details page.

You can press print order details at the bottom and then save as a PDF instead of printing and upload the PDF or a screen shot should do as well
