So someone has used my name and address to set up at least 2 fraudulent mobile phone accounts.
I am now receiving loads of letters from 02 demanding outstanding payments and threatening me with court action etc.
I am not even an 02 customer.
What I want to know is:
a) How can this be done with me knowing anything about it until now?
You are sending me paperwork now, why the hell didn't you send an initial contract letter to my address, at which point I would have contacted you saying that it was fraudulent? It beggars belief.
I now have this detritus on my credit score and it's me who has to sort it all out.
02, I shall be seeking compensation from you and I really want to know how someone can push the 'ok button' without me being informed by post. Utter nonsense and a real pain in the butt.
Bloody fuming

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

Did you get this resolved? Same thing is happening to me and it's been with fraud team for 3 months now. My credit score is reducing. I've reported to everyone and ring O2 weekly where they escalate it but no one ever calls me back!
