Flexing up data to get O2 travel inclusive bolt on temporarily

I am going on holiday to the USA shortly and currently don't have the O2 travel inclusive bolt on, as I have a 5gb 24 month contract. I've read online that I could flex up my data/contract for one month while I'm away and then flex my data back down again when I return, rather than pay £6 per day for using O2 travel. I'd like to flex up my data for one month to get the O2 travel inclusive zone so I don't have to worry about the £6 per day charges racking up. Can you help me with that please? I've gone through live chat and virtual assistant but having no luck and I don't want to increase my contract online and be stuck with increased data permanently fr the rest of my contract. Thanks.

Just change your tariff in your MyO2 https://mymobile.o2.co.uk/ and change it back when you return.
