Faulty SIM Card?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello, recently i got a new LG mobile phone and I decided to take out my sim card from the last phone and use it for this one. It worked for a couple of hours, but while viewing the web I got a message saying that there is no sim card inserted and I can only use my phone for emergency calls. I still had 6.88GBP on my account and I had the sim card for about 4 years. I have tried to check if the sim card or my phone is faulty, but after inserting the sim card into another phone it displayed the same message. Is there anything I can do except for getting a new sim card? If so, can i keep the same phone number?

@Anonymous pop into your local o2 store & they will provide you with a new sim & do a sim swap for you so you can keep your same number

Call customer service or call into an O2 store.

You will get a free sim card and they will transfer your number and credit.

You can't use the sim swap form as your present sim won't receive a text.
