I received a text from this number ‭+44 7519 306020‬
O2:We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, update your billing information via [link removed]

I didn’t receive any emails as I normally do from o2 especially when it’s to do with my bill. Just wondering if someone can clarify it’s definitely a fake please

It's a scam.

Forward the text to 7726 to report it for free and block the number.

Hi @Chlo14

It’s a scam and has been reported frequently on here. O2 are looking into it.

Reporting a scam email, text or call

Some scams might pretend to be from O2, or from an organisation you already deal with. It's important that we see examples of phishing emails, texts and websites so we can investigate and shut down scammers. To report a suspicious email, text or website:

  • forward the text message, including phone number or company name, to 7726. It won’t cost you anything and it means we can investigate the sender
  • for emails, forward the message to the organisation that it claims to be from. You can look up the email address to send it to on that organisation’s website
  • for suspicious emails claiming to be from O2, create a new email draft with ‘Phishing’ as the subject. Attach the suspicious email and send it to phishing@o2.com
  • get in touch with the Information Commissioner’s Office by calling 0303 123 1113.

@Chlo14 After you forward the scam text to 7726, block the number and any other numbers that arrive with a similar text. Here's how to block a number if you don't know how to do it:
