Hi,

I've damaged my phone and it's no longer turning on and is editing a string chemical smell from an area of damage. The apple logo flashes slowly. I've tried plugging into my computer and updating the software but this fails.

Does my extended warranty over this as I'll need a new phone ASAP.

Thanks

Phil

Insurance is the only thing that will cover it, if a local repair shop cannot do anything for it, @Phileddy18. If you have not opted for insurance from O2, it may be covered under an accidental damage clause for electrical items in your home contents insurance - worth checking. Good luck!

If you have AppleCare you are covered.

AppleCare Products - iPhone - Apple (UK)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
