Currently i have O2 pay monthly, and a BT landline with internet/e-mail.  If I cancel my BT and use the £13 per month O2 SIM which gives free landline and mobile access, can I have an e-mail address with O2?  BT is VERY expensive

No sorry. O2 do not currently offer any email facility.
You can get a free gmail or yahoo email though.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Yes, you can use your O2 data and phone to send and receive gmail.
Very easy to setup through the gmail app.
