Dual Sim phones

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am seeing a growing demand for dual-sim phones (for personal and business sims)

Currently, the only phones that seem to support this are from the Far East (HK, China etc..) and often do not support all the O2 frequencies, especially the 800MHz 4G one

Does anyone know if O2 have any plans to address this device market?

You can get the HTC One and some Samsung Galaxy models with Dual SIM option, but they're not cheap.

KAZAM are worth checking out as all their Android are Dual SIM and very keenly priced.

Unlikely that any network would sell dual sim phones and there are also Samsung and HTC the sell them so not limited to the Chinese market - Some of them are very good though.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I'm fairly sure O2 will never supply a dual sim phone. They are easily obtainable online but as you say, mostly far eastern imports. No one on the community could give you a definitive answer though until the dual sim phone is available in the UK marketplace.

I can't see any reason why O2 would want someone to have the capability of using a sim from another network in a phone that they supplied.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Yes, using an adapter.

I can get a Samsung or HTC dual-sim phone, but neither support O2's 800MHz 4G service (though they do support all others!)

This is enough of a problem for me to actually consider swapping to EE, so that I can at least get their 4G on a dual-sim handset.
