Hey,

I was talking to an online advisor yesterday and they told me that I could get a doorswap because it was within my 7 day buying period. Anyways, she said that it would take 1-3 working days. I haven't received any conformation email of this though.. so I was just wondering if anyone has done this doorswap before and how long did it take? etc.

Thanks in advance!

If you get nowhere with CS all you can do is start a complaint http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Just a query for me please?

Is doorswap a system by where you order a new phone and you 'swap' your old one at the door when the courier delivers the new one?

Yes, usually done when a new phone (within 28 days) is faulty or if repeated repairs don't fix the issue.

Oh I see...so only with faulty phones then?

I had visions that I could be ordering a new phone online and when it was delivered, handing over my S3

as part exchange....Duh me! Astounded

In my experience (with Vodafone) it is any time that they collect and deliver at the same time. I.e. Not just for faulty returns but that is the normal reason for a swap.

Did you get this sorted?

Currently expecting a doorstep swap but no update from O2, they just keep saying 103 days.
