It does sound as if you have to take the matter into your own hands... and keep phoning. Perseverance is the key. Of course there will always be the excuse 'well it is Christmas'.....so just keep pushing

As advised ringing them is probably the best course of action.

7-10 working days for a written complaint not several weeks.
