My 6 months free Disney+ is due to expire in a few days. If I let it roll over to paying the monthly subscription, will the O2 offer of £2 / month off my phone bill be applied automatically, or do I need to request this manually?

Many thanks

@Clarei32

It should continue automatically, with you paying the additional £2,00

However, if you want to double check then call O2.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

Full terms here :

Standalone Extra for Disney+:
Disney+ is a paid for service and the Disney retail price is £5.99. Disney+ can be selected as a Standalone Extra and a 6 month minimum term will apply. Customers will also receive a £2 discount to the Airtime component of their monthly phone bill for the duration Disney+ remains active as a Standalone Extra. For clarity, the £2 discount does not apply to auto opted in customers. Clause 11 also applies to customers who are auto opted in to Disney+ following the Partner Extra Period.

It looks like it may not happen automatically, so I'll call and check.

Many thanks for the quick reply!

@Cleoriff @MI5

Just got off the phone with an O2 adviser, thank you Cleoriff for the tip for getting to speak to a person. It seems that the point where I upgraded to the new contract was the only time that I could've opted for the £2 / month discount, but I am not able to do it now that I am midcontract. Its a shame that the two options weren't explained that clearly on MyO2 six months ago, oh well. I will be cancelling the automatic renewal.

Many thanks again for the advice!

To get it again with the £2 off, you would need to register under a new email address.

If you check the extra in My O2 it will always tell you the expiry date of the offer and also the cost after the offer when it renews @Clarei32
