Disney+ text offer not working

I got a text on the 18th May saying I could get Disney+ for free for 6 months if I text DISNEY to the number provided within 7 days, however I just get an error text back saying "Something went wrong there. Check if it has been added on My o2".

I've tried a few times in case it was a technical issue but no luck.

Can anyone help with this please?

Hi @Jordonay 

Find your extras in your MyO2 and click on the Disney extra to select it.

You then need to wait for an email to say it's been set up for you, then go back to your MyO2 to redeem the offer. It will take you to the Disney site to complete your sign in. 

Your voucher code should be filled in automatically

Hi @Cleoriff

In the extras in My o2 it only show the "Get Disney + for 5.99 with £2 off your airtime" option. Would selecting this still register as free for 6 months?

No, selecting that will just get the discounted offer.

We haven't seen this problem before so you need to call O2 to get the offer added to your account


The best number to get through seems to be
0800 587 4005

Yes but I upgraded to a new 12 month sim only @Cleoriff 

But the upgrade was actually from an 18 month contract down to a 12 month but with more data.

The free Disney+ was actually a bonus for me as I wouldn't have wanted the discount offer
