I’ve upgraded and can get 6 months Disney +, however I’m already a Disney + customer, how am I supposed to redeem the offer then

You need to cancel your current Disney subscription then activate the O2 offer.

You would have to cancel your paid subscription to take advantage of it, and use different details (I believe).
