Are you PAYG or monthly contract?

Do you have an iPhone? If so, change data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

Otherwise, you need to call customer service Guide: How to find help & contact O2

You may have a roaming bar on your account @Yulia . Contacting customer services as shown above is the only way to find out.

We need more info, but a roaming bar would not just disable 3g. It would be calls and texts too.
