I have to say the customer service I received over the phone recently was poor all I want to do was pay of my device tariff as I am switching provider at the end of the month and the chap at the end of the phone was very pushy about making me up grade which I am not after, As I hardly use my phone anymore so why would I want to upgrade a pay extra for something I am not using, I am tempted to contact trading standards

You can just use a PAC or STAC code to generate a final bill @Red85 and (depending on how many numbers you have) you don't need to talk to anyone at all.
