@FrustratedAlan It seems that call waiting times have been very long for a while now, unfortunately. We are all customers here, and there's not much we can help you with if your query is regarding your account. You'll just have to persevere, but you'll be better off speaking to someone rather than trying to get your problem resolved by Live Chat.

By the way, if you do want to leave you need to ask for your PAC to port your number, not a PUK.

Edit: Alternatively, you might be better off doing an upgrade in store, if you have an O2 store near you. If the phone you're interested in is in stock, you can do your upgrade and walk out with your new phone already up and running.

100% go in store.
CS waiting times are unacceptably excessive at the moment - more cut backs I guess.......
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Oh for the good old days when you were proud to work for O2 and recommend them to family and friends. Mind you the same could be said about my bank RBS......
