Solved: Cold Call

I have just received a cold call from 0161 277 6690 perporting to be from O2.

However, they didn't know what tariff I was on or who else in the house had mobiles.

Are they legitimate and working for O2 or just physhing for information?

@AnonymousIt's a Manchester area code and according to this https://who-called.co.uk/Number/01612776690 people are saying its a number claiming to be from O2. They appear to be harassing people with many cold calls. One article in Google claimed they were from EE!

Regardless of who they are or might be, never agree to anything from a cold call, esp one who doesn’t know who they are talking to.
