Change sim and keep number

Hi. I have a new handset and a new sim, to use this new sim and keep my old number, how do I do this. On the website it wants to send me activation codes but my old handset is goosed and doesn't work, so this sending codes business won't work. How do I do it another way? All help gratefully received

If you want to keep your number but use the new sim then you need to do a sim swap @Fatpaul  .

There should be instructions on the pack the sim can in, or follow the guide linked below.

You need to start from the old sim - put that in the new phone to begin with.
