Hi There,

I was on a Pay Monthly deal which finished a few weeks ago, over the weekend i was on live chat and agreed to move to a PAYG deal as it was much cheaper and i was assured i would keep my mobile number.

The PAYG sim card arrived yesterday with a different number and i have put it in my mobile and it wont activate, i think i may need to top up to activate the sim card but i dont want to top up until my number has transferred over to PAYG.

The number i want to transfer is still attached to the Pay Monthly account.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Thanks

Give O2 a call on 4445  or 0344 809 0222.

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

Hi Cleoriff,

I spoke to O2 live chat online at the weekend and they said they would be able to transfer my number from my pay monthly account to my PAYG account no later than 05 July.

This evening my pay monthly sim stopped working and when i put my PAYG sim card in, it is still the PAYG number on the sim not the pay monthly one so i appear to have lost my mobile number, when i ring my number it says "You have dialled an incorrect number, please check the number and dial again"

Is anyone able to help with this?

Tip: Never use live chat for anything important always call up.

You will need to speak to customer service on 4445 or 0344 809 0202

Did you complete the migration steps here Guide: Migration & porting into O2

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
