Cannot receive or send texts in Europe

Hi,

I have just realised that my SMS are not working in Europe. They website says I should have free roaming, but instead text messages are not working.

How do I resolve this?

Reboot your phone, manually scan for a roaming partner network and see if that helps.

WiFi calling can interfere (if you are a Contract user with that enabled, disable it on your phone until you get a good connection). More tips below - and if you are an iPhone user, you may need to temporarily change your APN from idata to mobile.o2.co.uk until O2 enable iData on your account.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. This morning I had the very same thought about scanning for other networks. After selecting the main national network it now works.
