To me this sounds like no commitment while my money is locked. How can I cancel the order? O2 website says I cannot track an accessory order.

If they say you can't cancel then just return it under the 14 day cooling off period

You will see it as gone as the funds aren't available to you but if O2 don't call for it, it will be returned to your available funds in 4 - 5 days time.
If it goes beyond that, o2 will automatically cancel the order.

Last time I ordered an accessory that was out of stock, I got an email telling me that they didn't know when it would be back in stock and to do nothing if I wanted to wait or to call and cancel if I wanted to source one elsewhere. Did they not give you this option? O2 deal with different third party suppliers and so cannot guarantee delivery dates.
