Can i keep my number on a pay as you go sim if i switch from a big bundle

Hello, i have the £10 big bundle tarrif at the moment however it has been brought to my attention that in the pay as you go sim you receive substantially more data therefore i would like to switch. However it does not make it clear whether or not i can keep my current number of i change to the £10 pay as you go sim. Please can you answer my query. I look forward to hearing your response.

If you just wish to switch tariff, login to your MyO2 and go to tariff details to change.
There's no need to change sims and your tariff will change at your next anniversary date.
