Bt HomeHub 5 - Boostbox - Any Help

Hello, struggling to setup my Boostbox with a HomeHub 5, ive tried

http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/BT/Home_Hub_4/O2_Boostbox.htm

 

But to no avail, Any help would be great.

Tbh I've yet to talk to someone who actually uses one.

Have you spoke to Cs business dept on 8002

Unfortunately not many on here with a boostbox suggest you call the helpline

@Toby another reason it would be good for me to trial one of these units the help pages and guides are very scant.

Hi, did you ever get this resolved... I've just moved from a HH4 to a HH5 and now cant seem to get the PF working, with exactly the same settings on both hubs ?

My guess is that they are both using the same IP address and therefore you have a conflict? ??

The HH4 and HH5 are not running at the same time, so no IP conflict. The O2 Boostbox has a fixed IP on the HH5, same as the one it had assigned on the HH4, all the PF rules are identical.

Hi Tall_Andy

As the actual use of a BoostBox is something not regularly discussed here and that as far as I'm aware no one here uses one you would be best served speaking to the Tech Dept at O2 Customer Services 8002 for Business.

Now that Tugo is available to business customers one wonders if Boostaboxes will be fazed out.

Ah Tugo for business... that could be just the ticket, last time I tried it was not available! ... just installed and set it up, will see how it goes. Thanks !
