i am confused about Bolt-on's.  After i have purchased extra data, do i then have to cancel it to stop it being a recurring monthly charge? if so, how do i do that?

Pay monthly bolt ons are a one off purchase and do not renew automatically.

Any unused data from the bolt on will roll over for 1 month only.

If you keep running out of data often. It might be worth changing your tariff to one that has more data. Yes it will cost a bit more than your existing tariff per month but works out much cheaper than buying a one off bolt on every month or so, those bolt ons really are for as a one off. The amount you pay for a bolt on for extra data, you could end up with unlimited data anyway!

You can change your tariff to increase your data through My O2 online.
