I’m gonna get my gf an Apple Watch s7 for Christmas,  and will pay it off monthly, as I will be paying for the watch does that mean it won’t work with her phone, I think she’s got an iPhone 11 or something similar, her sim is 02 as well I think. Will the watch still link up with it and be able to call/ text even if it’s on a different contract? Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers

@OJDNC

You will need to buy from Apple if she wants to use the watch standalone.

If you buy from O2 it will be linked to your number only/

Apple do instalment plans too.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
